Creation of Semi-Conductors and Igbt Sensors in Russian Federation

They produce semi-conductors of appointed materials. Their resistance has to be somewhere among that of a conductor and a non-conductor. Whims of temperature or used admixtures also affect the resistance.

The word “admixtures” means the other elements mixed to the material. The complete mixture labels the semiconductors as power semiconductor devices of type-n and type-t.

They manufacture diodes and transistors applying both these kinds of semi-conductors. Now silicon is eventually appearing to be the most actual material for making semiconductors.

Semiconductor substance is used to get diodes that are good for putting the stream of electrical current just in one direction. There is a layer of + (positive) combination, - (negative) construction and so-called pn-transfer fixed as barrier level in each diode. Electrical schemes that change among alternating and direct electrical current are made using diodes. Because that diodes let current flow only in one sense only half of the period or cycle is completed. Specialists call such a connection a rectifier.

Speaking of the light diodes known as LED, they are applied to get light at small voltages without generating heat. These diodes are applied in all types of contemporary electronic devices including TV sets or audio systems specially to signal the standby mode.

Moore's law gave way to the development of thyristors industry. The main side for producing complex power semiconductor devices at lower prices is today lithography. Speaking of optical lithography, it eventually gives way to the development of other techniques because it has come to its development limit. It is now quickly being substituted by more up-to-date ultraviolet lithography and nano-imprint lithography. Since recently specialists also see x-ray lithography and electron beam lithography as good candidates.

Such an important device as pulsed power devices was brought into life in Russia. They apply those sensors to complete different tasks anywhere. They find their application in business, industrial and everyday constructions. The form and size of the igbt sensor can change depending on the kind of gadget. So voltage sensors may be small (like in some light detectors) or difficult in construction (detectors that react on radiation changes).

It's anyway no possibility for the voltage sensors to work alone. There are numerous ways for applying power system dispatchers. They are necessary to control system properties like voltage, frequency, power flow, to observe the state of circuit breakers in substation and the planned interchange of power with the two power systems. System signals and the processes against them are also under their accurate control.

For the dispatchers to fulfil these tasks they must get a complete information of the whole power system delivered from the displays of computer consoles in various dependent stations. The specialists of the RTU were the first to come to substation level data acquisition such as status of CB's, disconnectors, isolators and analog values such as MW, Hz, KV etc. Russian Federation and China are now the biggest exporters in this field.
